Iceland: Into the Land of Fire & Ice

September 17-23, 2027

Solo Rooms: $6400

Solo 3 Nights, Triple Share 3 Nights: $5900

An immersive, professionally guided small-group adventure through Iceland’s wild southern landscapes, with boutique stays, unforgettable hikes, and fabulous meals.

Together we'll...

Walk across the ancient ice of Sólheimajökull Glacier with expert glacier guides.

Venture deep into the remote Highlands on a private Super Jeep expedition to Landmannalaugar, where colorful rhyolite mountains, steaming geothermal vents, lava fields, and sweeping alpine landscapes create one of the most extraordinary places in Iceland.

Hike through the breathtaking valleys of Þórsmörk with a professional Icelandic mountain guide.

Stand beside Iceland's legendary waterfalls, wander dramatic black sand beaches, and experience the unforgettable beauty of the South Coast.

As our adventure winds down, we'll retreat to a cozy countryside hotel in the heart of the Golden Circle for two peaceful nights.

We'll explore the Golden Circle- Iceland's most iconic natural wonders with our private guide, enjoy lunch inside the famous Friðheimar Tomato Farm greenhouse, soak in geothermal hot tubs, and celebrate our final evening together over an unforgettable farewell dinner.

Traveling during the fall equinox gives us five opportunities to witness the Northern Lights from some of Iceland's darkest skies. While sightings are never guaranteed, we'll spend nearly the entire week far from city lights—giving us excellent chances if the aurora decides to appear.

And if not?

We'll still have spent our evenings soaking in geothermal hot springs beneath Iceland's spectacular night skies.

How Strenuous Is This Trip?

This is an active but very achievable journey designed for travelers who enjoy moving through landscapes rather than just viewing them from a parking lot. Most days include short to moderate hikes to waterfalls, coastlines, lava fields, thermal rivers, and viewpoints, generally ranging from 1–8 miles, with plenty of breaks and an unhurried pace. Terrain can be uneven, rocky, or muddy in places, and weather can add an extra layer of challenge — Iceland likes to keep us on our toes. That said, there is no technical hiking, scrambling, or extreme elevation gain, and we adjust daily plans based on conditions and group energy. If you’re comfortable walking several miles on a couple of days, carrying a small daypack, and embracing a bit of wind and weather, you’ll be well suited for this adventure. Hot springs, hearty meals, and comfortable lodging balance the active days beautifully.

How do I get to Iceland?

Iceland is one of the quickest and easiest European destinations to reach from the United States, making it especially well suited to a one-week adventure. This journey has been deliberately curated to make the most of a single week, particularly for travelers balancing big adventures with busy work schedules. While flights are not included, we strongly recommend choosing a nonstop option whenever possible. There are numerous direct flights from the East Coast, while West Coast travelers can fly direct from Denver, Seattle, or Portland, arriving in Iceland the morning of the 17th.

With a flight time of just 7.5 hours from the West Coast, Iceland delivers all the drama of Europe with far less travel time.

Step off the map and into the extraordinary. This is not a vacation—it’s a journey into wild beauty and curated comfort, where every detail has been handpicked to offer a seamless, soul-stirring escape. From the lush jungles and sacred temples of Bali to the crystalline waters and untouched reefs of Raja Ampat, this 12-day experience blends eco-luxury, adventure, and exclusivity for a small group of discerning travelers ready to reconnect with wonder.

We begin with 3 luxurious nights in the lush hills of Bali, where jungle mist greets you each morning and spacious rooms open onto rice terraces and tropical gardens. You'll unwind in a boutique eco-resort handpicked for its tranquil setting, exceptional cuisine, and spa rituals rooted in Balinese tradition. Think: morning yoga, gorgeous temples, fresh-roasted coffee with mountain views, optional waterfall treks, and elegant, slow evenings to ground yourself before the big blue calls.

Then we journey to the far edge of the map—Raja Ampat, a remote archipelago in West Papua that ocean lovers speak of in reverent whispers. Here, you’ll spend 7 unforgettable nights in a secluded, eco-luxe beach resort, nestled between rainforest and reef. Accessible only by boat, this boutique property offers direct access to the most biodiverse marine ecosystem on Earth.

Snorkel with manta rays. Dive into technicolor coral gardens. Kayak to secret beaches. Sip fresh juice in a hammock between guided excursions to nearby islands and local villages. Each day brings new underwater marvels and above-water serenity.

We keep it intimate: a small group of curious, conscious travelers, luxury without pretense, wild beauty without the crowds. All logistics are handled, all details considered. Just pack your swimsuit, sense of wonder, and a little room for transformation.
